Recycling at home is not complicated at all. In fact, it does not have to be difficult to be effectual. We have listed below a simple process for you to get started with it. So, conserve the environment, and have fun also!
Find out what can be recycled in your city and community as all the major towns have their very own set of guidelines. Check out the facts surrounding this at your community center.
Think of the amount of waste your family produces. For example, if you consume a lot of canned food and boxed goods, you will need a medium or large container. If you are a fresh-food kind of person and don’t do a lot of online shopping, then a small bin would do. Also, remember that cardboard boxes and paper bags are also recyclable!

Now have two bins at home, one for the regular trash that would be collected by the city to be taken to the landfill, and the other obviously for your reusing project. Although plastic bags are easier to leave by the curbside, know that they cannot be recycled at all by many recycling plants.
Next off, most importantly, wash all items before throwing it into the bin, even if it was a carton of orange juice, rinse it off first. Also, try reducing the bulk of food from the recycling bin as they may be sent to the landfill if found difficult to process.
The most common recyclables are paper, batteries, used oil, old tires, and household hazardous waste.
Recycling is the best we can do to our planet as responsible citizens to conserve the environment and keep it unharmed for the next generation. Have fun recycling, and do your part to protect our home!
